🔟 Rex's Top 10 Things That Make Him Nervous

Hi! I'm a fearsome tyrannosaurus. Mostly. Okay, here's the list of everything that makes my little arms shake. Please don't laugh.

1. 1

Being replaced by a newer, scarier toy

Every birthday I worry Andy will unwrap a bigger, meaner dinosaur and that'll be the end of me.

2. 2

   Not being scary enough

I practice my roar all the time, and I still worry I just sound annoyed.

3. 3

   Confrontations of any kind

I'm a peace-loving predator. Raised voices give me the jitters.

4. 4

The final level of the Zurg video game

I've been trying to beat Zurg forever, and those buttons are very far apart.

5. 5

   Crossing a busy road

Hiding under a traffic cone while cars whoosh past is a terrible way to travel.

6. 6

   The yard sale

One day you're on the shelf, the next you've got a price sticker. No thank you!

7. 7

Getting packed away in the attic

Andy's off to college, and I really don't want to spend years in a box.

8. 8

   Playtime with the toddlers

Daycare sounded fun until the littlest kids got hold of us. My tail still hurts.

9. 9

   The landfill conveyor belt

Let's just say the claw was a very welcome sight.

10. 10

    Kids picking screens over toys

When I heard all the kids in town were glued to tablets, I panicked about going extinct all over again.

🔟 Rex's Top 10 Proudest Moments

Okay, okay, I know I'm not the scariest dinosaur. But I've done some very brave things! Here are the ones I'm proudest of.

1. 1

Knocking Zurg down the elevator shaft

One swing of the tail, and nobody was more surprised than me.

2. 2

Finding the Buzz Lightyear strategy guide

I found it at Al's Toy Barn, and it had all the secrets!

3. 3

   Being the battering ram

My head opened the way into Al's apartment. Teamwork hurts sometimes.

4. 4

   Learning to roar fiercer

Buzz gave me pointers, and I've been practicing ever since.

5. 5

   Splitting open the trash bag

My tail tore us free before the garbage truck came.

6. 6

   Holding Buzz's reset button

I had a very important button job at Sunnyside.

7. 7

Staging a fake fight with Hamm

Best acting of my career, and it was all part of the escape plan.

8. 8

Beating the computer game with Trixie

We finally won and celebrated with a high-five.

9. 9

Posing as a giant beast on Hawaiian vacation night

I gave Ken and Barbie a very convincing jungle adventure.

10. 10

    Becoming Partysaurus Rex

I threw the biggest bath-time party the tub had ever seen.

🔟 Rex's Top 10 Favorite Things

I like a lot of things! These are my very, very favorites.

1. 1

   Playtime

More than anything, I just want to be played with.

2. 2

   Leaf-eating dinosaurs

I hoped Andy would get one for Christmas so I wouldn't be replaced by a meaner one.

3. 3

   Video games

Any controller I can reach with my short arms is a good day.

4. 4

   Andy's dinosaur stories

I got to star as the dinosaur who eats force-field dogs!

5. 5

   Buzz Lightyear

He's a great friend, and I was SO relieved he isn't a dinosaur.

6. 6

   Robot arms

In the Battlesaurs' world, I tried robot arms, and they were wonderful.

7. 7

   Party hats

   Every Partysaurus needs one.

8. 8

   A good workout

Push-ups are hard with little arms, but I try.

9. 9

   Ball pits

The Poultry Palace ball pit was a great place to hang out.

10. 10

    Dance shows

I had a front-row seat for Buzz and Jessie's dance.
